Community Awareness and Knowledge on the Nature, Scope and Concept of Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is a crime that most people have limited knowledge of. While there are numbers of programs introduced and implemented, research on public awareness human scant. Hence, this study focused the level San Pablo City community members about nature, scope, concept in terms acts, means employed, purposes trafficking. The employed descriptive design form survey questionnaire. sample size two hundred sixteen (216) was drawn from various sectors using purposive convenience sampling. From gathered quantitative data, frequency count, weighted mean, ANOVA were used for analysis. findings indicated aware knowledgeable trafficking, however, some still do not understand extent due to their reliance media rather than direct participation as social responsibility. among different group respondents significantly varies since they perception. Further, along with other platforms including internet, seminars at barangay level, radio, newspapers, educational institutions, posters, pamphlets familiarize majority preferred television primary source information.
